There are many photographers to choose from in Chicago and the suburbs. With them come a set of diverse skills, vision, and approach. To say there is a best way to capture someone with a camera is of course, impossible.
I try to place people in the best light we have - diffused sunlight, or ambient light. Natural light, mixed with a soft reflector, does more for the natural beauty of someone than image editing on a computer can. When I shoot in the studio, I generally follow the advice of legendary Chicago photographer, Marc Hauser, and utilize only one light source with a reflector providing fill and subtle drama. People are not products or mannequins and I don't believe should be lit as such.
Call me when you are ready for a session. We'll work around your schedule.
Thanks for stopping by.
